| PRINCE/ VARIOUS WEA Top 100 (Rare 1985 Japanese-only 14-track
promotional LP sampler, opening with the 4:41 version of 'Paisley Park',
which was given the proposed catalogue number 'P-1964' for Japanese
release, as pictured on the back cover &listed on the label. The single
only ever reached the test pressing stage in Japan [PS1028 number] &
was replaced by 'Raspberry Beret' for commercial release. The labels
are custom white on blue & the record features other then-forthcoming
singles by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Phil Collins, Chicago, Eric
Clapton, Foreigner & more, housed in a unique sleeve with pictorial/
Japanese text for each song on the back. The sleeve is Excellent with
minimal wear - the vinyl is Near Mint with few signs of play PS-264)

| IRON BUTTERFLY In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (Rare 1969 Japanese
6-track stereo vinyl LP, manufactured by Nippon Grammophon
with custom blue & green Atlantic labels, the first Japanese issue
of this brooding psych/proto-metal classic, housed in a heavy
duty front laminated & internally pasted gatefold sleeve with
English lyrics across the inner spread and stereo logo on the
front, with the '¥1800' price point on the obi echoed on the
back cover. The sleeve is in fabulous shape for its age withonly
two notecable creases in the lamiante to the otherwise quite
glorious front panel. The back panel and spine are free of wear
and look fantastic, bright vivid with not even a hint of crushing
to the spine. The obi with 'SMT-1054' catalogue number printed
at the top and bottom, and has only light age wear with no rips
or tears. The pasted inner spread is all intact along with the
flipside of the obi and though due to the unlaminated surface has
some overall foxing through age, displays no other wear, rips,
tears, unpeeling or writing. The vinyl shows only very light signs
of play with just a couple of light cosmetic hairlines - overall a
fantastic copy, now almost fifity five years on and the first this
variant we've seen)
