JIMI HENDRIX Disc & Music Echo (17th February 1968 28-page issue of the UK music magazine, which includes a piece on the Disc Valentine’s Day Awards. Features a great colour photo of Hendrix with Lulu on the front in connection with being voted 'World's Top Musician' by Disc readers; this shot was taken a full year before Hendrix played Sunshine Of Your Love on her show & the BBC pulled the plug. The paper includes a list of the poll results which included multiple wins by The Beatles& Lulu. Jimi is interviewed on page six where he talks about the group dynamic & plans for a new stage show. Also inside is a rare Hendrix ad where they thank the readers of the magazine for voting for them. This newspaper is now half a century old & remains in Excellent condition with only minor edge wear & a lightly pencilled street number in the top right corner. A fine collectable)

Tracklisting: More Details Labels are black/yellow Parlophone design, they have some spindle wear to show it has been played, but has clear bright silver text. With "The Parlophone Co Ltd." text around the perimeter With "Recording First Published 1963" Without "Sold in the UK subject to.." Lists the 'Jobete' credit for Money and the 'Gotta' misprint for Really Got A Hold On Me. "use Emitex" poly lined inner. The sleeve is printed by Ernest J. Day, front laminated with flipbacks, printed with the 'Gotta' misprint on the back. Matrices: XEX447-1N XEX448-1N Condition Obtained from its one previous owner, the cover remains in Very Good condition. There is a slight crease in the laminate in the bottom left hand corner & a smaller crease in the top right corner. The edges remain sharp with no splits or fracturing to the seams & there is no writing. The flipbacks are secure - a tiny piece of paper from the edge of the top flipback is missing. All text remains clearly legible & the spine is strong & vivid. The panels are nice & clean with some minor spots of foxing to the back slick, where some faint pencil annotations by the tracklist are visible under a bright light & Paul's name is lightly underlined. All be told, the sleeve still stands very proud with very little weakening & is Very Good. The labels have spindle marks around the centre hole to show play. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & there is a deep sheen both sides. There are some light hairlines both sides which do not affect play on a mono setting & the sound quality remains superb. Very hard to find a true FIRST PRESSING with the EJD Day sleeve. Far from mint, this is serviceable VG/VG example. Tracklisting 01. It Won't Be Long 02. All I've Got To Do 03. All My Loving 04.
