A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | VARIOUS ARTISTS Gather In The Mushrooms | The British
Folk Underground 1969-1975 (2025 UK/EU limited edition
19-track double album 2-LP on black vinyl. Curated by author
and Saint Etienne's own Bob Stanley, Gather In
The Mushrooms is a hauntingly evocative survey of
Britain's acid folk underground - originally issued on CD in
2004 and now reissued for the first time on vinyl.
This definitive new edition draws from both the original
Gather In The Mushrooms and its 2006 follow-up
Early Morning Hush, while adding key tracks by
Roy Harper, Fotheringay, and C.O.B.
previously unavailable for licensing. This is a deeply
atmospheric listen, capturing the rustic magic, introspective
melancholy, and untamed spirit of a generation that rejected
mainstream modernity in favour of caravans, tents, white
stone cottages, and a connection to older, stranger ways of
living. The selections range from the delicate minimalism of
Vashti Bunyan and Anne Briggs to the eerie
improvisations of Comus, with rare and privately
pressed tracks by Midwinter, Oberon, and
Forest adding an archival richness. More than just a
folk compilation, Gather In The Mushrooms offers a
window into a lost England of handmade sound and communal
dreams - a vital reference point for the 2000s neo-folk
revival and a spellbinding listen in its own right. Gatefold
picture sleeve, factory sealed)

 | JAMES BOND Skyfall (Scored by Thomas Newman,
Skyfall marked the composer's debut entry into the
James Bond franchise and quickly earned acclaim as
one of the series' most dynamic and emotionally nuanced
soundtracks. The 2012 film, directed by Sam Mendes and
starring Daniel Craig as Bond, reinvigorated the franchise with
depth, character, and cinematic flair - complemented
perfectly by Newman's atmospheric, suspenseful score. The
soundtrack was awarded Best FilmMusic at the BAFTAs and
received Academy Award and Grammy nominations. This
deluxe 2-LP edition is pressed on 180-gram Translucent Red
Vinyl, housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with
At The Movies hype sticker, and a 4-page booklet. It
also features secret service inscriptions etched into
the run-out grooves, adding an extra layer of intrigue for
collectors! Limited to just 1500 individually numbered
copies)
Tracklisting: Thomas Newman became the ninth composer in the James Bond series history. His score for the 2012 movie Skyfall won the BAFTA Award for Best Film Music. In 2013, it became one of two Bond scores to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
Skyfall (2012) is the twenty-third spy film in the James Bond film series. It features Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond, and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film's villain. The movie was directed by Sam Mendes and centers on Bond investigating an attack on MI6. The attack is part of a plot by former MI6 agent Raoul Silva to humiliate, discredit and kill M as revenge against her for betraying him. The film sees the return of two recurring characters to the series after an absence of two films: Q, played by Ben Whishaw, and Moneypenny, played by Naomie Harris. Skyfall is the last film of the series for Judi Dench, who played M, a role that she had played in the previous six films.
