A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

AC/DC Back In Black (1980 UK 10-track LP on the green & orange Atlantic label with A1/B1 matrices and 'Strawberry' stampers, the first album after the untimely death of Bon Scott, and subsequently the first to feature Brian Johnson. Housed in ablack embossed sleeve with picture/credits inner. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear, whilst the vinyl and labels have a few light surface scuffs - an excellent example K50735)

Tracklisting: 01. Back In Black 02. Hells Bells 03. Shoot To Thrill 04. Given The Dog A Bone 05. What Do You Do For Money Honey 06. Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution 07. Let Me Put My Love Into You 08. You Shook Me All Night Long 09. Shake A Leg 10. Have A Drink On Me
GENESIS A Trick Of The Tail (1976 UK first issue small 'Mad Hatter' label 8-track vinyl LP with A1/B1 matrices and Phonogram credit text. This was the first Genesis album to feature Phil on lead vocals following Peter Gabriel's departure. Includes the brilliant Squonk, Robbery, Assault & Battery and the instrumental closer Los Endos; gatefold sleeve with illustrated inner and 'Robor' credit inside. The sleeve & inner shows minimal wear, whilst the vinyl has just a few light cosmetic surface scuffs & hairlines - a great copy CDS4001)

Tracklisting: 1. Dance On A Volcano 2. Entangled 3. Squonk 4. Mad Man Moon 5. Robbery, Assault & Battery 6. Ripples 7. A Trick Of The Tail 8. Los Endos
BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD Buffalo Springfield (Extremely rare debut withdrawn first issue 1967 UK 12-track MONO LP, on the plum & red Atlantic label with black fan logo to the right, launching the careers of Neil Young & Stephen Stills. We can confirm this is the very first pressing that plays a different sequence of songs on the record than what is listed on the label & sleeve, including the first issue-only track, Baby Don't Scold Me. There is a small catalogue sticker on the back cover. How many of these withdrawn copies survived is uncertain but here is one of them! Please see 'more info' for the song details & condition...)

Tracklisting: Vinyl : - 1. Go And Say Goodbye 2. Sit Down I Think Love You 3. Leave 4. Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing 5. Hot Dusty Roads 6. Everybody's Wrong 7. Flying On The Ground Is Wrong 8. Burned 9. Do I Have To Come Right Out & Say It 10. Baby Don't Scold Me 11. Out Of My Mind 12. Pay The Price Sleeve & Label Tracklisting :- 1. For What It's Worth 2. Go & Say Goodbye 3. Sit Down I Think I Love You 4. Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing 5. Hot Dusty Roads 6. Everybody's Wrong 7. Flying On The Ground Is Wrong 8. Burned 9. Do I Have To Come Right Out & Say It 10. Leave 11. Out Of My Mind 12. Pay The Price This is the original UK mono mix of the self-titled Buffalo Springfield debut which kicks off with the track, Go And Say Goodbye. Due to overlap, the single For What It's Worth soon became a hit before the album release & this incredibly rare early version was swiftly withdrawn due to a marketing ploy to shunt the single further up as the album opener, & subsequently dropping the track, Baby Don't Scold Me. Rumour has it the band were unhappy with the sound of the mono mixes, and felt that it didn't reflect the intensity of their live shows. Baby Don't Scold Me has never been reissued in stereo, all CD releases feature only the mono mix. Condition :- Sleeve :- The front laminated sleeve features the intended running order with 'For What It's Worth' listed first & no mention of 'Baby Don't Scold Me'. There is light shelfwear and a small catalogue sticker on the back, this copy is without any mention of it being recalled thus making it an early piece of Buffalo Springfield history. Otherwise, the condition is remarkable, with virtually all text legible including along the spine & few other signs of wear with age. Vinyl :- The matrices in the run-outs are machine stamped 587070 A1/ & B/1. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & play tested & the sonics are superb, with no interferences. There are just the lightest few paper scuffs visible when held under a bright light which have no effect on play at all. A lovely copy! This particular example is a rare find indeed, only the second in over thirty years!
JIMI HENDRIX Are You Experienced (Classic debut 1967 UK first pressing 11-track mono vinyl LP on Track, housed in the original front laminated Ernest J. Day picture sleeve)
See 'More Info' for further details on this rarity...

Tracklisting: As emblematic of its time as of its sorcerer-like creator, 1967's Are You Experienced? unleashed Jimi Hendrix onto a world in the midst of such cultural and musical shake-ups that it really didn't seem as 'far out' as it actually was. It wasn't just Hendrix's virtuosic skill as a pure player that was so impressive, it was even more the range and scope of sheer sound that he coaxed, cajoled and ripped out of his instrument. His songs filled ears with indelible sonic images and songs like 'Foxy Lady' and '3rd Stone From The Sun' pointed the way toward a new brand of rock-charged soul music. Tracklisting 01. Foxy Lady 02. Manic Depression 03. Red House 04. Can You See Me 05. Love Or Confusion 06. I Don't Live Today 07. May This Be Love 08. Fire 09. 3rd Stone From The Sun 10. Remember 11. Are You Experienced Condition Housed in the original Ernest J Day manufactured front laminated picture sleeve, the cover has some light creasing to the laminate & to the corners, but all text on the back panel remains clearly legible & the front cover retains rich & bright colours, with no splits or rips. There is also a past owners name written on the back. The labels are black with silver print & large Track Record logo at the top. There are some spindle marks visible around the centre although the labels remain bright & clean with no writing or tears. The matrix numbers end A-1/B-1 indicating that this copy was one of the first pressed. They are as follows Side One 612001 A1 Side Two 612001 B1 On first listen, we were startled at just how different this original mono mix sounds. Visually, the vinyl reveals some minor hairlines and scuffs but these are not deep enough to affect play, & thanks to the quality of sixties vinyl pressings from this period, the mono playback does not stray, & these marks remain purely cosmetic. All be told, a very healthy VG copy By no means mint, we are happy to offer this original UK copy of a classic Hendrix rarity. With demand ever increasing on the market, these are getting increasingly difficult to find in any condition!
