From 2025 onwards, all new and reissued Pink Floyd releases in the UK and EU are issued by Sony Music, following the label's acquisition of the band's recorded-music catalogue in late 2024. This transition marks the end of the Warner Music / Parlophone Records era (2016 - 2024) and means all back catalogue titles-including deluxe editions, CD and vinyl reissues-now appear under Sony's Columbia imprint. Any new pressings or special editions from this point forward will reflect this change in label ownership and distribution. With the catalogue now transferred to Sony, all previous Warner-issued pressings are out of print, enhancing their collectability and marking them as part of a distinct phase in the band's release history. |
