STAN GETZ The Complete Recordings Of The Stan Getz Quintet With Jimmy Raney (Limited Edition 1990 US Mosaic audiophile 40-track THREE CD Box Set, showcasing the legendary tenor saxophonist Getz alongside guitarist Jimmy Raney, with their complementary cool-tone & hard-swinging styles which began with a gig at Storyville in Boston on October 28, 1951. This led to five classic studio sessions from 1951-53, with a supporting cast including pianists Al Haig, Horace Silver, Duke Jordan& Hall Overton, all collected here & expertly remastered from the original master tapes.
