LP with 'EMI Records Ltd' perimeter text on the labels &
'Waters-Gilmour-Wright' label credit for Part 5, complete with heavy
card lyric inner with cropped bevelled corners [laterissues were
rounded], classic Hipgnosis designed picture sleeve. The sleeve is
Excellent with just a few faint spots of discolouring/ringwear, the inner
has a little foxing and the vinyl is clean & in Excellent condition with
some minor paper

press 9-track stereo vinyl LP on the plum & red label, housed
in the first release pale brown gatefold picture sleeve. The
label & sleeve both list The Lemon Song where later issues
list it as Killing Floor. This copy sports the legendary misprint
on side two for "Livin' Lovin' Wreck", which was quickly
noticed & almost immediately corrected, with very few
leaving the factory)

Condition :-
The sleeve has survived over half a century. There is a name on the front corner, a common practice back then & one we see regularly. Because of this, we have down graded the sleeve to GOOD. There is the usual ageing & ring wear/discolouration with scuffing around the edges, with all print clearly legible including the spine. 'The Lemon Song' is clearly listed inside.
The vinyl is clean & grades GOOD with some light paper hairlines which show a little effect on play. 'The Lemon Song' is clearly listed on Side One & 'Livin' Lovin' Wreck' is listed on Side Two. Some light discernible background noise can be heard on occasion in the quiter passages. All in all, a serviceable example - In better condition these can fetch triple the amount if not more. |
 | BLACK SABBATH Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (1973 UK second
issue 8-track vinyl LP on the black & silver label with silver
'WWA' label logo, housed in matt gatefold picture sleeve with
the inside image going all the way to the outer edges without
a border. The rear of the sleeve states manufactured and
printed in England with no reference to 'Howards Printers' and
has 'album concept and design: Pacific Eye & Ear...' credit
printed in a bold print on the back. This copy also contains the
original lyric inner that has no tears or seam splits. The
sleeve is VG with patchiness to the borders whilst the vinyl
shows few signs of play. A superb play copy of this fantastic
Sabbath album WWA005)
