This is the legendary unofficial release that foundits way into the more discerning record shops dueto the length of time that Virgin were taking on releasing the Pistols debut album. It's been suggested that it was the work of Malcolm McClaren as the record was pressed in the UK by Lyntone, a reputable company that usually manufactured flexi-discs [the plain white inner sleeve is exactly the same patent numbers as NMTB too, so draw your own conclusion!] What we do know is that it's an incredible document of what the Pistols actually sounded like, featuring the inventive basslines of Glen Matlock and before the countless guitar overdubs added to Never Mind the Bollocks [not necessarily a bad thing btw]. These demos are raw, angry, funny and downright subversive in equal measure!
