MEZZ MEZZROW A La Schola Cantorum (Scarce 1956 UK
4-track mono heavyweight vinyl LP on the early design dark
blue London label, recorded in Paris the previous year with
Peanuts Holland [trumpet], Guy Longnon [trumpet], Milton
Sealey [piano] &Kansas Fields [drums], fully laminated
scalloped flipback sleeve. Due to its delicacy, the sleeve has
some ring wear & paper tearing at the edges, however the
vinyl still holds up as a nice & clean, excellent condition copy

series. A tribute LP of sorts to Mezz Mezzrow who died in Paris
in August, 1972, listen to the great man play alongside the
likes of Benny Carter, Bud Freeman & Willie "The Lion" Smith,
recorded on a variety of dates in New York in the mid to late
1930s. The front laminated picture sleeve shows just a little
light discolouring with age & the vinyl is Excellent with
