MILTON MEZZ MEZZROW & FRANKIE NEWTON The Big Apple (1972 French 16-track LP, Volume 56 in the Black & White series. A tribute LP of sorts to Mezz Mezzrow who died in Paris in August, 1972, listen to the great man play alongside the likes of Benny Carter, Bud Freeman & Willie "The Lion" Smith, recorded on a variety of dates in New York in the mid to late 1930s. The front laminated picture sleeve shows just a little light discolouring with age & the vinyl is Excellent with minimal sign of play)
