MARY HOPKIN Postcard (2010 UK Stereo issue limited edition
19-track CD album digitally remastered by a dedicated engineering
team at the world famous Abbey Road studios - Produced by Paul
McCartney, 'Those Were The Days' was Apple's first successstory and
rocketed Mary to international stardom at the tender age of eighteen.
Following the huge success of the single, Paul and Mary set about
putting together her first album which was released in February 1969
just six months after the single. 'Post Card' was a mixture of
contemporary folk music [including three Donovan songs], with some
older 'standards'. This 2010 edition retains the tracklisting order of the
1991 CD release, and comes expanded with the previously unreleased
'Fields Of St. Etienne'. Presented in a digipak picture sleeve complete
with new notes and photographs)
