issue 6-track deep groove mono LP on the yellow

CECIL TAYLOR JAZZ UNIT Nefertiti, The Beautiful One Has Come
(1969 first UK issue of the 1964 4-track stereo LP, recorded live on 23
November 1962 at the Cafe Montmartre in Copenhagen, Denmark with
Jimmy Lyons (alto sax) & Sonny Murray (drums). Sometimes seen as a
benchmark recording in Cecil's back catalogue, Nefertiti remains one of
the most uncompromising free-jazz albums of the sixties & makes an
ideal entry point into his work. Comes housed in a fully laminated
picture sleevevariant. The sleeve [VG+] has historic tape reinforcement
along the top edge due to a past hairline split, otherwise the panels &
edges appear Excellent [small spot of corner creasing] with no major
concerns. The vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with very few signs of play
at all SFJL926)
