PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Ultra rare 1973 UK first pressing 10-track vinyl LP with SOLID PRISM labels with silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text, black poly lined inner, two stickers & two posters. This has A2/B2 matrices but doesn't have the well known skip during the song Money. This gatefold picture sleeve differs from later issues in that it displays a slight green colour tinge [more visable on the inside gatefold], unlike the jet black print of lat
#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timeerissues, also has the circular hype sticker attached to the front. Please see 'more info' for this must own TAS listed masterpiece... SHVL804)

Tracklisting: The iconic gatefold matte picture sleeve is one of three early variants with a single side opening, the front section is sealed with a fold over flap that is glued inside the opening. Printed with blue credit text on the inside left panel with "Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd." This example displays some light general wear although nothing particularly severe. The title sticker is attached to the top right corner. The inner sleeve is a die-cut black poly-lined inner with patent numbers and "Made in Great Britain" in silver at the bottom. Aside from a small tear to the opening edge, it remains unsplit & intact. The two stickers are unused, and show littlee creasing where they were once caught in the middle of the gatefold [a common complaint!]. They can be described as thus: A) A brown/dark blue/yellow/green self-adhesive sticker with Dark Side of the Moon graphics. Matte. The backing paper is white with "FasPrint Removable R-100" on the paper. There is no catalog number on the sticker. B) Yellow graphics sticker: A yellow/sky blue/green self-adhesive sticker with Dark Side of the Moon graphics. Matte. The backing paper has wavy serated lines and is printed "FasPrint Removable R-100". The two posters remains in a really nice condition and have never been displayed and stored within the sleeve. They can be described as such: A) Pyramid Poster: Glossy. There is no catalog number on the poster. B) Group Poster: A six-pane group shot poster in landscape style with "SHVL 804" in the bottom right corner. Glossy. The poster artwork has lost none of its impact with them both in an unused condition. The artwork is unblemished & unfaded. The plain white sides show minimal signs of age. The labels are the all important black label with solid light blue triangle & 'Gramophone Co Ltd' perimeter print. There is no writing or paper loss, and shows only a few very light spindle marks by the centre hole. The matrices in the run-outs are machine stamped & end A2/B2. This is a nice one owner example. The vinyl is super clean both sides with very little wear to the grooves or paper wear detectable. These first pressings are obviously highly desirable, amongst the reasons for this is that the first batch press is 'TAS' listed, meaning it comes with high praise & distinction by Harry Pearson from The Absolute Sound. We have play tested the whole album, and can confirm this sounds amazing. Very clean minimal crackles or pops, and the silents sections between the songs are just that, silent. A fantastic example, highly recommended. Tracklisting 01. Speak To Me 02. Breathe 03. On The Run 04. Time 05. The Great Gig In The Sky 06. Money 07. Us And Them 08. Any Colour You Like 09. Brain Damage 10. Eclipse
THE BEATLES With The Beatles (Rare 1963 UK first issue 14-track mono LP with 'The Parlophone Co' perimeter text & 'Recording first Published' but without 'Sold In The UK' on the label, with "Use Emitex" inner. The disc also lists the 'Jobete'credit for Money and the 'Gotta' misprint. This example is within the rare Ernest J. Day front laminated flipback picture sleeve with the 'Gotta' misprint on the back, confirming a first pressing PMC1206)

Tracklisting: More Details Labels are black/yellow Parlophone design, they have some spindle wear to show it has been played, but has clear bright silver text. With "The Parlophone Co Ltd." text around the perimeter With "Recording First Published 1963" Without "Sold in the UK subject to.." Lists the 'Jobete' credit for Money and the 'Gotta' misprint for Really Got A Hold On Me. "use Emitex" poly lined inner. The sleeve is printed by Ernest J. Day, front laminated with flipbacks, printed with the 'Gotta' misprint on the back. Matrices: XEX447-1N XEX448-1N Condition The sleeve displays some minor corner wear & a little wear to the opening edge, there are a few light creases to the laminate, the non-laminated back is a nice off-white colour with just minor age yellowing. There is also a small area of sticker residue to the back, nothing excessive. All flipbacks are secure and the spine is clearly legible. The labels both have a few marks around the spindle hole to show it has been played, however the vinyl remains very clean with little evidence of excessive handling or play. There are just a few light marks visible and are only cosmetic. A great condition FIRST PRESSING, and only the second of this varient we have ever seen, with very little need to upgrade.
