VENOM Black Metal (What can be said about an album that named an entire genre? Legendary 1982 UK 10-track LP pressed on Grey Marbled Vinyl best observed under a strong light source, with a red on black Venom head logo label on one side and tracklisting label on the other. This is the groups second album, and cited as perhaps the most important influence in the development of black metal, thrash metal, death metal & other related styles that areoften grouped under the extreme metal umbrella. This edition has a picture sleeve adorned with a horned goat on the front in silver along with the title and has a black background, the back has the chilling warning 'Home Taping Is Killing Music - So Are Venom' on the back. This example displays just a little wear along the opening edge. The labels both remain clean with only a few light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl remains excellent with only a few light cosmetic surface marks & hairlines. A fine example of this coloured vinyl rarity and highly recommended NEAT1005)

This was Syd's debut solo album finally appeared two years after leaving Pink Floyd, with Dave Gilmour & Roger Waters producing. This is a brilliant but brittle album, with every strum of the electric guitar seeming to take its toll on Barrett's increasingly frayed nerve strings. The glossy gatefold sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is a superb copy showing litttle signs of play SHVL765)

Tracklisting: 1. Terrapin 2. No Good Trying 3. Love You 4. No Man's Land 5. Dark Globe 6. Here I Go 7. Octopus 8. Golden Hair 9. Long Gone 10. She Took A Long Cold Look 11. Feel 12. If It's In You 13. Late Night
