A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

MADONNA Hit Clips (2000s US Hasbro 'Micro Music System' personal music player with Madonna Don't Tell Me cartridgen with printed artwork. This example is still in its blister pack, which although splitting in places. still leaves it mint and unused)
NICK DRAKE Bryter Layter (Rare 1970 UK first pressing 10-track vinyl LP issued on the pink rimmed Island 'palm tree' label - Often confused with the 1972 pressing with a similar label, this is the very first issue without bracketed timings on thelabel. The textured picture sleeve shows a little light edge scuffing & ringwear with minimal signs of corner creases. The labels on both sides are clean with the lightest of spindlewear whilst the vinyl remains in excellent condition & showing minimal signs of play ILPS9134)
Full details of the differences between the two pressings and condition can be found in the 'More Info' section...

Tracklisting: A1. Introduction 1:33 A2. Hazey Jane II 3:41 A3. At The Chime Of A City Clock 4:42 A4. One Of These Things First 4:46 A5. Hazey Jane I 4:24 B1. Bryter Layter 3:16 B2. Fly 2:56 B3. Poor Boy 6:30 B4. Northern Sky 3:42 B5. Sunday 3:39 As previously stated there has been much confusion between this original first pressing and the later 1972 issue with a very similar label design. The only way to tell the two apart are the minor label differences. The later issue has the timings of the songs in brackets and the text 'Island Records Ltd' on the right hand side of the label next to the publishing date while this first issue has the song timings left open (no brackets). The later issue also has Joe Boyd's production credit printed on two lines rather than just the one, and removes the 'stereo' notation. Both issues are found with -1 matrix numbers in the run out groove. The machine stamped matrix numbers are: ILPS 9134 A -1U ILPS 9134 B -1U The textured sleeve was manufactured by EJ Day & has the Island 'i' logo and Basing Street address printed by the bottom edge on the reverse.
ELLIOT MINOR Pages From An Autograph Book (Five 5" by 4" pages from an autograph book that was part of an extensive collection obtained by the wife of a former Assistant Tour Manager for Eric Clapton. Well known and a personal friend of many of the stars that she collected autographs from, she had unprecedented access to backstage areas and VIP Events that enabled her to amass a vast collection of autographs with consequent impeccable provenance. These particular autographs were obtained on 31st July 2007 and are nice unhurried examples with each autograph on a separate page, featuring the signatures of the entire band; Ali Paul, Alex Davies, Dan Hetherton, Teddy Hetherton & Ed Minton)

Tracklisting: Signatures were obtained by Yuki Smythe-Park. For many years Yuki's husband Colin, was Eric Clapton's assistant tour manager, working on many of his 1980s concerts & tours. On August 26th 1990, Clapton played the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Wisconsin, alongside Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Following the show Colin Smythe, along with Clapton's agent Bobby Brooks, his bodyguard Nigel Browne and Stevie Ray Vaughan boarded a helicopter bound for Chicago. Tragically, the helicopter crashed shortly after take-off, killing all on board. Yuki was friends with many artists from that era and continued to attend gigs and fill her numerous autograph books. These signatures were obtained in person by Yuki.
