JOHN MAYALL Blues Breakers (Rare 1969 UK Second Stereo issue of the 1966 12-track vinyl LP on the second variant blue unboxed Decca logo 'ffss' label, front laminated pinched spine picture sleeve printed by MacNeil Press in London withthe Mono/Stereo die-cut indicator & correct blue poly lined company inner SKL4804)
See 'More Info' ...

Tracklisting: More Details This was the first time that the Bluesbreakers album had been released in Stereo, the Mono album having been issued in 1966 just days after Eric Clapton had left the band to form Cream. Decca were notoriously chaotic about their label and sleeve use and several combinations of type face and design can be found. What identifies this as a second, is the use of a Mono/Stereo punch hole on the sleeve. The first issue had no die-cut on the sleeve, these were introduced not long after the first stereo release and continued through to the boxed label, but were themselves phased out with the end of Mono. The sleeve on this example as mentioned has the indicator and also has the mono & stereo catalogue numbers both printed on the spine, and includes the poly lined blue company sleeve. The label is printed with the speed and master tape number above the catalogue number in curly brackets. This is the correct way up instead of upside down as they were on early unboxed labels. It is known from other albums on Decca at the time that this could be either way up, but the earlier label design still used the curly brackets, where the later labels were unbracketed. All labels were the non-grooved variety without tax code. Condition The sleeve is in beautiful condition with only a little general wear & discoluration to the non-laminated back and just a couple of light laminate creases. The vinyl too is in outstanding condition, the labels have just a couple of spindle marks to show it has been played, whilst the vinyl itself remains very, very clean with little evidence of play. A fantastic copy of this rare second stereo issue. Tracklisting 01. All Your Love 02. Hideaway 03. Little Girl 04. Another Man 05. Double Crossing Time 06. What'd I Say 07. Key To Love 08. Parchman Farm 09. Have You Heard 10. Ramblin' On My Mind 11. Steppin' Out 12. It Ain't Right
JOHN LENNON Imagine (1971 UK first pressing 10-track LP, complete with lyric inner, fold-out poster, postcard & fully laminated picture sleeve with pinched spine. The sleeve shows some light ring wear & laminate creasing [catalogue number annotation to the corner of the lyric inner] & the poster remains unusued. The vinyl grades VG/VG- with just a few hairlines & light marks to show play. A nice, if not mint, example with all its components in check. Priced advantageously, these firstissues can now hit three figure sums! PAS10004)

Tracklisting: 01. Imagine 02. Cripped Inside 03. Jealous Guy 04. It's So Hard 05. I Don't Want To Be A Soldier 06. Give Me Some Truth 07. Oh My Love 08. How Do I Sleep? 09. How? 10. Oh Yoko! Matrices - 1U/1U Run off area etchings Porky / Pecko
