A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | DAVID BOWIE Mother (2021 German manufactured limited
edition 7" single pressed on Black Vinyl, a great
version of the John Lennon-written song, also including Tryin'
To Get To Heaven [Single Edit] written by Bob Dylan. The vinyl
comesissued in the picture sleeve which is individually
numbered on the back and is limited to 8147 copies
[black & cream vinyl copies combined] which is a numeric
representation of Bowie’s birthday [8th January 1947] to
mark what would havebeen his 74th birthday on the day of
the release!. The sleeve retains its open factory shrinkwrap
and the vinyl displays minimal signs of play) |
 | BLACK SABBATH The Vinyl Collection 1970-1978 (Amazing 2012 UK
box set containing no fewer than the first NINE LPs, all
remastered and suppplied in replicas of the original packaging with
appropriate labels, inserts & inners, then pressed on 180gm audiophile
vinyl, complete with a full size hardback book containing the artwork
for the tour programmes of 1971, 1975, 1976 & 1978, a replica of the
first single in its own picture sleeve & a download code for pulling
down MP3 versions of all the tracks, all housed in a lavish high quality
13" square box still housed in its open shrink wrap with hype sticker
still attached. The vinyl remains in fantastic near 'as new' condition.
The box is near mint, just displaying the all too common stress
fractures to the paper on the lower edge, largely because the vinyl is
extremely heavy against the paper used to coat the box. See our
images. A fabulous set and the best we've acquired to date!)

 | JAMIROQUAI Emergency On Planet Earth (To celebrate the
30th anniversary of their first single "When You Gonna
Learn?", Jamiroquai reissue their
groundbreaking 1993 debut Emergency On Planet
Earth as part of National Album Day 2022. This
UK/EU limited edition double album 2-LP is pressed on Clear Vinyl and
presented in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with spot gloss details,
printed inner sleeves, and a 12" insert featuring retrospective
liner notes from Jay Kay written in 2013 and 2017. Originally
released in 1993, the album was an instant success, reaching
No.1 on the UK charts and laying the foundation for
Jamiroquai's future as one of the UK's most influential acid
jazz and funk crossover bands. With themes of
environmentalism, spirituality, and social awareness,
Emergency On Planet Earth remains as vital and
forward-thinking today as it was upon its release. Includes
essential tracks like "Too Young To Die", "Blow Your Mind",
and "Revolution 1993". Recommended)
Tracklisting: Following the reissue in January of the 25th anniversary edition of ‘Travelling Without Moving’ - the best selling funk album of all time - Jamiroquai’s debut album ‘Emergency On Planet Earth’, is this year celebrating its 30th anniversary and is being reissued as a transparent/clear coloured double vinyl with gatefold cover and printed inner sleeves containing liner notes by Jay Kay from 2013 and 2017.
The album's original liner notes were a manifesto by Jay Kay regarding the environment, upon its original release these subjects were not on the mainstream agenda. But now, with the benefit of hindsight, this record feels as important and relevant, if not more so, than it was on its original release.
Originally released in 1993 (the album's lead single ‘When You Gonna Learn’ was released 19 October 1992), the album was met with critical acclaim and charted at number one. To date ‘Emergency On Planet Earth’ has been certified multi-platinum selling in excess of 3 million copies globally.
