A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

GENESIS Turn It On Again (Rare 1980 Japanese white label promo sample vinyl 7" for the single, also including Behind the Lines, unique picture insert with lyrics printed on the reverse. The insert displays minimal wear and the vinyl looks barelyplayed SFL-2478)
MONTY BABSON When Lights Are Low (Rare 1966 UK 10-track mono LP, the one & only pressing of this British rarity. If you want to collect every record in Denis Preston's Lansdowne Series then you're going to need this one, but it simply never showsup! Tony Coe appears on tenor sax & we know Monty went on to create Morgan Studios [with Barry Morgan] two years later. Hard to put a price on a record that so little have heard, the flipback picture sleeve [VG+] shows light ring wear creasing in the laminate & otherwise no writing or tears. The vinyl grades Excellent with just a few faint paper hairlines to show play SX6066)

Tracklisting: When Lights Are Low Glad Rag Doll Hi Lili Hi Lo Ghost Of Yesterday Quiet Room Mood Indigo Paper Doll Autumn Breeze Honeysuckle Rose I Get Along Without You Very Well
ROLLING STONES Their Satanic Majesties Request - 1st - G (1967 UK first issue Design No 5/ Version 3 label varient 10-track deep groove MONO LP on the light blue, unboxed Decca label, housed in a superb lenticular 3-D laminated gatefold picture sleeve with red psychedelic inner. Note, this is a true mono mix indicated by the 'P' matrices, & not a later stereo fold down to mono pressing. See 'more info' for further details and condition... TXL103)

Tracklisting: History: The sixth release by the Rolling Stones was recorded over a number of sporadic sessions amidst a blur of court appearances, prison sentences, & psychedelic drugs. Arguably one of the Stones' more 'out there' affairs, it received mixed reviews at the time, & remains a controversial release in their back catalogue. Matrix Numbers & Mono Mix Side 1 - ARL-8126-1P Side 2 - ARL-8127-P1 The original master tape was mixed two times, the first one was used for mono records only and the second one was used both for mono and stereo records. The two mixes, in this instance, used for pressing the mono record can be identified by the matrix number. As the matrix numbers on this copy contain the 'P' identifier, it confirms a first, true mono mix. Later 'T' matrices were in fact the stereo recording folded down to one channel to create a mono sound. Take the song “The Lantern” for example. There is a bell tolling in the beginning of the song. A true mono record has the bell tolling three times before the music starts. A fold down from stereo to mono AND a real stereo LP has the bell tolling two times before the music starts. Sleeve: The gatefold sleeve is Excellent showing just little storage wear with only minor edge scuffing, there is also very light lift from some corners of the 3-D laminate picture although it does not aesthetically alter the sleeve in any way. This is the first issue sleeve, with the mono text on the bottom right hand corner of the back of the sleeve, later issues had this printed on the top right hand corner. Also worth noting that if you look closely in the 3D part of the sleeve you can pick out images of Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Paul McCartney & George Harrison lurking amongst the psychedelia. Good luck, it took me a while to spot them! The red flame inner is present & correct, with no splits. Labels & Vinyl: The labels reveal a little spindle wear to indicate play with a little sticker residue present from the prior owner but nothing major and most has been successfully removed, more could potentially be removed with greater effort and time although could prove difficult or not even possible without damge to the label. The heavyweight vinyl has been professionally cleaned on a top of the line Matrix machine. There are a number of cosmetic scuffs & hairline marks with a few small to deeper scratches here & there causing the odd light click & jump. By no means mint, this is a worthy collection filler & a true first mono press at a knockdown price. Tracklisting: 1. Sing This All Together 2. Citadel 3. In Another Land 4. 2000 Man 5. Sing This All Together (See What Happens) 6. She's A Rainbow 7. The Lantern 8. Gomper 9. 2000 Light Years From Home 10. On With The Show
PAUL MCCARTNEY AND WINGS Band On The Run (1978 French limited edition of their classic 1973 9-track LP now pressed on Translucent Yellow Vinyl, including the hit title track and Jet. The glossy picture sleeve has some creasing to the edges and comes with the original picture / lyric inner, whilst the vinyl has only light signs of play DC9)

Tracklisting: A1. Band On The Run A2. Jet A3. Bluebird A4. Mrs Vandebilt A5. Let Me Roll It B1. Mamunia B2. No Words B3. Picasso's Last Words (Drink To Me) B4. Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five
