Texas scored a worldwide hit in 1989 with their debut single 'I Don't Want a Lover' from thier2 million selling album 'Southside'. The follow up albums 'Mother's Heaven' & 'Ricks Road' were less successful. In 1997 Texas came back with 'Say What You Want'; which became their biggest hit single, peaking at number 3. The album 'White on Blonde' followed entering at number 1, where it was to return again a year later. Two years later the band released their fifth album, 'The Hush', with the lead off single 'In Our Lifetime.' This album went straight into the UK charts at number 1 like its predecessor. A greatest hits album, a child for Sharleen and two further albums have followed since and the band continue to be a huge draw on the live circuit.
