This incredibly hard to find gem is an original archive copy and comes courtesy of London's Capital Radio vaults. The solid centre label has 'Capital Radio Music Library' hand-stamped diagonally with annotated catalogue, time length and song title details displayed on the playing side. THE SMITHS Barbarism Begins At Home (Extremely rare UK Rough Trade promotional-only 1-sided vinyl 12", custom picture sleeve with no barcode or catalogue number. 'Barbarism Begins At Home' didn't originally get a commercial release in the UK. However in January 1985, two different specially pressed 12" promos were sent to DJs shortly before the release of the "Meat Is Murder" album. Both promo 12"s were numbered RTT171 but one featured the album version only, while the other had that and a shorter version edited down to 3:48.
