Queen were using other bands 'downtime' - when the studio was booked for use butstood empty. The entire first Queen album was recorded in this way to save money. QUEEN 1973 Tour Commemorative Plaque (Back in '73 when Queen were just starting out they agreed to support Mott The Hoople on their UK tour. It was a resounding success & to celebrate the promoter Mel Bush commissioned a small quantity of brass plaques. He presented one to each member of Mott The Hoople, Queen & their management.
