OSCAR PETERSON Plays Harry Warren EP (1960 UK 4-track 7" vinyl EP featuring Oscar's usual trio of Ray Brown & Ed Thigpen 'jazzing up' some classic Harry Warren songs including the astonishing Lullaby Of Broadway, although this time without the aid of 150 tap dancers. We trust this will not spoil your enjoyment of the piece too much. OSCAR PETERSON Plays Harry Warren (1955 US 11-track mono 'deep groove' LP, on the black & silver Clef label with trumpeter logo, recorded alongside Herb Ellis on guitar and Ray Brown on bass. The heavy duty pasted card sleeve shows a little edge& corner scuffing but is otherwise an excellent example from the era with very little general shelfwear. The vinyl too is excellent, with perfect clean labels, looking barely played. A wonderful copy! MGC-648)
