THE BEATLES Brass Apple Paperweight (Extremely rare original UK brass Apple paperweight, obtained from a secretary who worked at 3 Savile Row and believed to be a prototype for the edition given out as gifts to those attending the opening of Apple Studios. Measuring 4" high from the base to the top of the stem and 3" in diameter, the apple itself is hollow, splits in two around the centre and is machine tooled; the stem is hand made and unscrews from the top. It differs from the final design in that there is one leaf attached to the stem instead of two, and this is finely detailed rather than flat shaped metal.
