Promoting the release 'on album, cassette, CD' this cut to shape display board shows some signs of wear and tear but is the only example we have sourced to date. Acquired from a longstanding collector of MJ memorabilia, this is a piece that would never have been on sale commercially and only likely sourced if you had friends in high places at your local record store [he did]. Measuring some32" x 34" at its widest and deepest points, there are some sellotape marks and scuffs visibble but it's fair to say, few of these would even have survived the record store and most would have been disposed off after the marketing campaign finished. This stunning promotional only instore display comes in three parts which slot together to see Michael Jackson standing in his iconic arm in the air pose; he stands at approximately 69" tall! Given these displays were only available to select music stores back in the day, the fact it has survived is remarkable since most would sadly have been destroyed after use. Each piece does show signsof wear and tear and there issome scuffing and a wide variety of staple marks since that is how it would have been assembled and most likely secured to the record shop wall.
