Husband and Wife duo Cecil & Linda Womack both grew up in families
steeped in musical heritage. As a young girl Linda met Cecil when the
Womack family, known as the Valentinos [and including Soul Legend
Bobby Womack] were singing professionally with her father the
legendary Sam Cooke. Through the 70s, Cecil and Linda developed an
impressive musical reputation as songwriters, and as musicians,
playing with such great artists as TheRolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and
