WILTON 'BOGEY' GAYNAIR Blue Bogey (Rare Brit-jazz 1983 UK Jasmine issue of the even rarer 1959 6-track mono LP, originally on Tempo. Jamaican-born Wilton was a schoolboy contemporary of trumpeter Dizzy Reece and saxist Joe Harriott, and this is one of the few jazz recordings to his name, playing alongside Terry Shannon on Piano, Kenny Napper on Bass and Bill Eyden on Drums. WILTON 'BOGEY' GAYNAIR Blue Bogey (Incredibly rare & limited 1959 UK four-prong centre 7" vinyl EP on Tempo Records, recorded on August the 26th that year. Jamaican-born Wilton was a schoolboy contemporary of trumpeter Dizzy Reece & saxist JoeHarriott, & this is one of the few jazz recordings to his name, playing alongside Terry Shannon on piano, Kenny Napper bass & Bill Eyden drums. Features the tunes Blues For Tony & Gone With The Wind, the latter not included on the Tempo LP also called Blue Bogey. The flipback sleeve is fully laminated, & despite a corner crease there's only really ring wear to show for its age.
