A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| WILTON 'BOGEY' GAYNAIR Blue Bogey (Incredibly rare &
limited 1959 UK four-prong centre 7" vinyl EP on Tempo
Records, recorded on August the 26th that year.
Jamaican-born Wilton was a schoolboy contemporary of
trumpeter Dizzy Reece & saxist JoeHarriott, & this is one of
the few jazz recordings to his name, playing alongside Terry
Shannon on piano, Kenny Napper bass & Bill Eyden drums.
Features the tunes Blues For Tony & Gone With The Wind, the
latter not included on the Tempo LP also called Blue Bogey.
The flipback sleeve is fully laminated, & despite a corner
crease there's only really ring wear to show for its age. The
vinyl reveals a few cosmetic marks & hairline scuffs but these
are light & have little to no affect on play. A very respectable
