THE SKATALITES Herb Dub-Collie Dub (Super rare 1976 UK original 8-track LP on a turquoise blue Jigsaw label, recorded in 1975 at Aquarius Studios and Lee Perry's Black Ark, mixed at Aquarius and King Tubby's. This is a dub version of the instrumental album 'The Legendary Skatalites' which appeared on US label Jam Sounds. Neither The Skatalites nor any of their members are credited on the sleeve or label. Housed inside its original plain white sleeve with pinky-orange coloured titlesticker attached which simply states, HERB DUB = COLLIE DUB COLLIE DUB = HERB DUB. As you would expect this is no audiophile pressing but it plays with excellent clarity, just light surface noise in places, most audible on the intro to Track 1 Side 1. No skips, no jumps.
