the very rare 1960 6-track mono LP on the Prestige label.
Featuring John Coltrane on Tenor, Donald Byrd on Trumpet,
Art Taylor on Drums & George Joyner on Bass. Single pocket
picture replicating the original artwork. The sleeve show
minimal wear and the vinyl remains in Excellent condition
with just some very fine wisps, which are common in Rainbo

THE RED GARLAND QUINTET featuring JOHN COLTRANE & DONALD
BYRD Soul Junction (Rare 1961 UK first issue 6-track mono LP pressed
on heavyweight vinyl by Esquire, with flat edge & 'RVG' machine
stamped in the run-out. Comes housed in a unique front laminated
flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve [G+ or VG-] shows a degree of
age wear including ring wear creasing & a few minor patches of
discolouring. There is no writing & all text is clear. The flipbacks
remain secure but there are a number of paper splits in both flipbacks
& there is a small piece missing from the top edge of the spine's
flipback, with some further scuffing & laminate peel in the corners.
The vinyl is nice & clean both sides & grades VG+/EX- with some
minor spindle marks & the odd faint paper hairline not affecting play)

RED GARLAND TRIO Groovy! (Very Rare 1957 UK 6-track deep
groove mono LP on a rough textured Esquire label, with a flat edge &
'RVG' machine stamped in the run-outs, also starring Paul Chambers
& Art Taylor. The record is housed in a stunning & unique, fully
laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve [VG+] has some minor
corner creasing commensurate with age & the labels have no writing
or tears. The heavyweight vinyl has been professionally cleaned &
grades VG+/EX- with a nice deep sheen both sides. There are some
faintpaper scuffs & minor hairlines not upsetting play. These original
Esquire pressings are every bit as hot as their Prestige counterparts &
are now very sought after)

RED GARLAND When There Are Grey Skies (Mid 60s US issue of the
1962 5-track mono LP, on a dark blue & silver label with Prestige label
to the right, Bergenfield address at the bottom & 'Van Gelder' machine
stamped in the run-offs. Also stars Wendell Marshall & Charlie Persip.
The pasted picture sleeve shows just a little mild paper splitting in the
top left corner & all text is legible, there is no writing & the spine looks
fantastic. The vinyl is a nice VG+/EX- with a few faint paper hairlines
which have little to no effect on play PR7258)

RED GARLAND At The Prelude (1959 US first issue 8-track
deep groove mono LP, on a black & yellow Prestige label with
'203 South Washington Ave. Bergenfield N.J.' address & 'RVG'
[Rudy Van Gelder] machine stamped in the dead wax. Also
stars Jimmy Rowser on bass & Specs Wright on drums, front
laminate pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve is practically near
mint, with just the tiniest spot of laminate chipping at a few
edges or mild age wear but nothing of any real consequence.
The vinyl is super clean & Excellent with merely the lightest
evidence of play. Perhaps better known for playing in Miles
Davis' quintet, this is one of the best Garland trio date
recordings as a leader PRLP7170)
