ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Love In Our Time (Rare 1968 UK single sided metal based high grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the song written by Reg Tilsley & Elkan Allen, which was the theme for Elkan Allen's film of the same name, a pseudo-documentary about modern sexuality that originally claimed to be a selection of the general public, but all participants were actually recruited from acting school. The playing surface is in surprisingly good condition with the inevitable lightscuff visible, but it plays through without fault and sounds remarkably clear and well defined, although a degree of background noise can obviously be heard, much as you'd expect. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK This Is A Very Special Day / Hush A Bye (Extremely rare & quite possibly unique 1954 UK 78RPM 10" double sided methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the single release of two tracks from the 1954 remake of 'The Jazz Singer', with Danny Thomas performing 'This Is A Special Day' on one side & Ray Burns performing 'Hush A Bye' on the other. The acetate itself is has custom 'Sample Record' hand typed labels & would have been made for pre-production sonic review purposes, certainly one of less than a handful produced.
