MASCOTT Art Project (2009 UK 10-track CD album - Kendall Jane
Meade [aka Mascott] hails from New York and is a former member of
Sparklehorse, Helium, and The Spinanes, aswell as previously working
with Jim O'Rourke and Joan As Police Woman. Written over the course
of two years, 'Art Project' is an indie-pop stunner with a
down-at-home feel, intimate, relaxed and beautiful, a personal journal
of sorts ruminating on city life and loves. Combining the enigmatic,
'60s pop of cult favourite Margo Guryan with the mellow, modern pop
