This box set was released over 35 years ago. In 1970 The Beatles were hugelypopular and everything released sold by the million, so finding Beatles originals in average or even very good condition is quite common. However, now and again you come across a real gem and that is what we've found here. This copy amazinglyremains FACTORY SEALED from new and is therefore still MINT and unplayed nearly 40 years on! On the front of the box (on the shrink) in the top right hand corner it retains the white sticker with details of what the box contains in red text. BY APPLE RECORDS, INC.', complete with US printed 36" x 24" fold-out poster & individually coloured & textured lyric inners. The pasted box is US printed with 'Manufactured By Capitol Records Inc....' and lists the Los Angeles, California, Jacksonville,Illonois, Winchester and Virgina factories, with tracklisting details above without credit to Eric Clapton, all printed in black on a plain white finish inside. The front of the box shows only a little light wear with no splits, each inner sleeve has a small split at the bottom and the poster has never been displayed. GEORGE HARRISON All Things Must Pass (2010 UK limited edition 23-track triple 180gram Heavyweight Vinyl LP box set - Back in 1970 with the break-up of The Beatles, all focus was naturally on John Lennon and Paul McCartney, to see what they would do next. However, it was George that hit the ground running with 'All Things Must Pass'. By the time he was to record the songs he had been amassing over these years, he was able to round up a stellar band inclduing Ringo Starr, EricClapton, members of Badfinger, Billy Preston, Bobby Whitlock, Gary Brooker [ex-Procol Harem] and Gary Wright as well as members of Delaney and Bonnie's band with whom he had toured in 1969. The sessions were produced by Phil Spector, then renowned as the genius inventor of the 'Wall of Sound'. George himself remastered the album in 2000, living long enough to see it released to great critical acclaim and commercial success in 2001. All housed within the textured picture box with gold embossed titles on the spine. The three discs show light cosmetic surface scuffs and their accompanying printed inners have some unfortunate seam splits to the bottom edges but comes complete with the bonus fold-out poster. The playing side features a 3½" diameter picture of George as featured on the single and album artwork, surrounded by yellow and black artist/title text around the outside; the non-playing side shows the full-length George picture taken from the back of the 'Somewhere In England' album artwork. Due to being stored for many years inside a clear PVC sleeve, the playing surface has some a 'mottling' effect.
