FRANK SINATRA You're Sensational (Rare 1956 UK double sided 7" metal based high grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the single release, with custom Sapphire manufacturing labels with no printed song titles. The b-side is unnamed. Instead of You Forgot All The Words, there is a background instrumental track of light cocktail jazz, also from High Society we would presume. Very few of these are ever produced, mostly for in-studio sonic reference or for private use. The disc reveals mild cosmetic wear resulting in some low level surface noise but the disc plays through just fine & without fault. A curious find for the Sinatra fan) more...

FRANK SINATRA & ANTONIO CARLOS JOBIM Sinatra Jobim (Legendary 1969 US double sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate for the unreleased 10-track stereo LP [scheduled for release as Reprise FS 1028], with plain type written labels detailing the original track sequence [the order of which has never been replicated on any subsequent releases]. How many of these exist is unconfirmed, but certainly less than five. What's more, the condition is SPECTACULAR FS1028)

FRANK SINATRA A Man And His Music (Rare 1965 US 32-track pair of 12" double sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetates for the stereo double compilation LP putting together an anthology of Frank's musical career. The acetates have plaintypewritten labels with just title, 'SINATRA' & the date of Nov 24, 1965. Unusually for such a fragile item, especially one that is fast approaching its fiftieth Birthday, is that all four discs are as near spotless as you would ever dream of finding an acetate, with just a few fingerprints but NO major scuffs or scratches. A very hard to find item indeed, certainly one of only a few made & possibly unique) more...

FRANK SINATRA To Be Perfectly Frank (Rare early 60s US 13-track 12" double sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate featuring songs recorded for rare broadcasts from his 1953-55 radio program 'To Be Perfectly Frank', featuring Frank with an unusual small Jazz combo backing. Needless to say, being extremely fragile & also over fifty years of age, this acetate is not mint, but is still perfectly playable with just a few visible light surface scuffs & looks to have had very little play. The labels are simple handwritten white. A very hard to find item indeed, certainly one of only a few made & possibly unique) more...

FRANK SINATRA The Frank Sinatra Show (Rare 1958 US official 8-track 10" double sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate featuring songs recorded for his live TV Show on 9th May 1958, also featuring special guest Ella Fitzgerald. Needless to say, being extremely fragile & also over fifty years of age, this acetate is not mint, but is still perfectly playable despite a large number of visible surface scuffs. Being taken from the soundtrack of the TV show, presumably for radiouse, the sound quality is similar to that heard on black & white newsreels & has a certain vintage charm. The disc is labelled on one side with a type written label giving the show details but the 33RPM speed that it is designed to play at has been omitted, which may have caused some confusion if DJs attempted to play it at 78RPM. It is what it is. Certainly rare & probably only one of a handful ever made) more...

FRANK SINATRA Frank Sinatra Acetate (Approximately 1961 US 4-track single sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetate featuring 'As You Desire Me' & 'Don't Take Your Love From Me', accompanied by Don Costa & His Orchestra, 'Roses Of Picardy' accompanied by Bob Farnon & His Orchestra & 'Come Waltz With Me' accompanied by Gordon Jenkins & His Orchestra. Great mystery surrounds this acetate as all four tracks on it remained unreleased for thirty years! The first two tracks were added as bonus tracks on the 90s issue of 'Sinatra & Strings' & the final two were released on anthology box sets in 1991 & 1992. 'Come Waltz With Me' was actually written as the title track of the album that finally became 'All Alone', so the fact it remained unreleased for thirty years is even more of a mystery. The acetate is in superb condition & is still in the original hand annotated audiodiscs die cut sleeve in a protective white outer - an amazing treat for Sinatra fans!) more...
