DAVY GRAHAM Folk Blues & Beyond... (Not much to say about
this rare LP really, apart from the fact it was to make as much
of an impression on the Acoustic players of the UK as Jimi
Hendrix did to the Electric players a few years later. This was
the blue touchpaper from which the UK Folk boom rocketed
forth, infused with the rambling troubadour influences that
Davy Graham soaked up during years of wandering. Not
enough room up here to describe condition, so please travel
yourself tothe 'More Info' section LK4649)

DAVY GRAHAM All That Moody (Rare 1976 UK private press
13-track vinyl LP on the Eron label, limited to just 500 copies,
this release was part of the label's mission to showcase the
best Folk that the South-East of England could produce and
certainly hits its brief with this collection by the man dubbed
'the Father of modern British Folk' reworking some of his
early material to magical effect, front laminated picture
sleeve. The sleeve has a little fading at the spine and has
'review copy' penned to the reverse, whilst the vinyl has just
a few faint scuffs and no real sign of spindle wear leaving it
Excellent with an eye on a higher grading - the first copy we
have ever seen and certainly not to be seen again in such
condition! ERON007)

DAVY GRAHAM Dance For Two People (1980 US 18-track LP,
pasted picture sleeve. This late '70s album saw Davy further
exploring his usual diverse range of styles and tunings, this
time incorporating elements of Arabic and Middle Eastern
music. The sleeve, which is still in its opened shrinkwrap,
shows very little wear and the vinyl has just a few light
scuffs/hairlines to show for its 35 years KM161)

DAVY GRAHAM The Guitar Player (1963 UK 12-track mono LP,
which technically speaking was Davy's first album, although
the real first album proper was 'Folk, Blues & Beyond' a
couple of years later. That's not to put this one down too
much, although it was more 'bread & butter' music than Davy
is best known for, it still carries that magical interpretation
and fine fretwork that was his trademark. The front laminated
flipback picture sleeve shows a little age yellowing on the
unlaminated back, some edge scuffing & a little light creasing,
much as you'd expect after fifty years. The vinyl remains in
nice EX-/EX condition with just a few light surface scuffs to
show for all those years in the wild. A nice copy of this hard to
find Davy Graham debut GGL0224)

DAVY GRAHAM Midnight Man (Rare 1966 UK 14-track LP. The second
album by the blues & jazz inspired folk guitarist who is still the peg
against which all other singer/songwriters & acoustic players are
measured. A true troubador & wandering minstrel, Davy infused his
music with the influences of the local music of the many countries he
travelled through. All of Davy's original albums are very desirable &
most often found in 'well loved' condition & this copy is no exception.
Whilst a long way from mint, the front laminated picture sleeve is free
from any writing & shows very little wear, although the back is quite
yellowed with age, and is undamaged with clearly readable spine. The
vinyl too, again not mint, shows just a few light surface marks & some
spindle marks in the centre of the label, & still sounds very acceptable
indeed with the heavyweight sixties vinyl minimising any surface noise
or clicks, resulting in the album playing an effective M-. All in all, a
very nice overall VG+/EX- copy of this fantastic album at a great
price! LK4780)
