CLEAR BLUE SKY Clear Blue Sky (Rare original 1970 German issue
5-track vinyl LP on the 'swirl' Vertigo label - an innovative slice of
progressive rock recorded at Island Studios and produced by
Nirvana's Patrick Campbell-Lyons, housed in a superbRoger Dean
designed front laminated gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a
little light creasing to the edges and has a small amount of writing
inside, however it is in otherwise excellent condition with all edges
intact and clearlylegible spine print. There are only a couple of faint inaudible surface marks on the vinyl, which nearly 40 years on retains a beautiful 'just pressed' lustre, with minimal spindle wear on the bright, clean labels indicating VERY little play!)

CLEAR BLUE SKY Clear Blue Sky (Monster Progressive Space Rock
1970 UK first press 5-track LP on a large 'swirl' label, one of the
hardest Vertigo titles to track down, with machine stamped matrices in
the run-outs ending 'A/1' & '2/Y2'. This rare beauty was produced by
Nirvana's Patrick Campbell-Lyons at Island Studios & opens with the
epic & sprawling side-length, 'Journey To The Inside Of The Sun',
housed in a wonderful Roger Dean designed gatefold sleeve complete
with the original '1070' dated die-cut 'swirl' inner. Obtained from the
private archives of a one-previous owner collection, the cover is
Excellent, stored away from direct sunlight & remains stunning off
white. There are very few signs of wear to the cover other than a minor
spot of sticker residue from a former catalogue sticker in the top right
corner. The vinyl appears near 'as new')

The cover [EX] has just a few light signs of wear to show for
its age with all text remaining legible to the eye. The vinyl
grades VG/VG+ with some noticable hairlines and the B-side
has one that can be felt to the the touch. Despite this we have
test played this copy and can honestly say that there is just a
few minor clicks that can be noticed with no real impact to the
full sound of the record. This is a great play copy of this
rarity)
