BREAD AND BEER BAND Dick Barton Theme (Rare 1972 UK 2nd
issue [first issue has a different catalogue number] 7" single
backed with Breakdown Blues, die cut company sleeve. This
one-off release was recorded by a young Elton John (Reg
Dwight) who also co-wrote the b-side plus a crack team of
session musicians; Caleb Quaye on guitar, Roger Pope on
drums, Bernie Calvert on bass, and Lennox Jackson on
percussion. It's a hard to find single in any shape but this
copy is in near mint condition, the paper sleeve looks brand
new and the vinyl appears unplayed - superb! F13354)
