The performance balances lyrical bebop phrasing with the group's distinctive polish, offering a refined snapshot of Davis' pre-electric era just before his shift toward more exploratory directions. Mastered by Krieg Wunderlich at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab on Gain 2 Ultra Analog System, with stunning depth, presence, dynamics, clarity and ambience.
