The band, initially formed in 1967, featuring Gary Moore on guitar and vocals, became a key part of Irish rock history. The album blends traditional blues influences with hard rock and a hint of psychedelic rock, resulting in a raw and powerful debut. Picture sleeve individually silver-foil numbered and limited to just 750 examples. With insert and gold hype sticker)

The album also incorporates hard rock elements, with strong rhythms and powerful riffs adding a heavier edge to the sound. The combination of bluesy improvisation and hard rock energy gives the album a compelling and distinctive vibe for its time. Many of the tracks on “Skid” are built around improvisation, which was a hallmark of the band’s live performances. This sense of spontaneity lends the album a raw, unpolished feel, complete with extended instrumental breaks and solos.

This release of “Skid” is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on white coloured vinyl.
