THE STOOGES The Stooges (Rare original 1969 UK 8-track stereo LP on the red & silver Elektra label with the large 'E' logo and manufactured by Polydor Records, housed in a fully laminated picture sleeve printed by MacNeill Press Ltd. The group's debut studio album considered a landmark proto-punk release including the singles I Wanna Be Your Dog and 1969. Normally copies of this album are found 'well loved' and nearly unplayable, however this copy is in a really nice condition, a one owner copy from a long-time UK music journalist. The cover displays some light signs of age wear with a few spots or laminate lifting and some small creases in the laminate around the edges. The labels have a few light spindle marks to show it has been played only a few times and are otherwise clean, and the vinyl remains Excellent with just a few light signs of play. A stunning example and the first UK pressing of this classic we have ever seen!)
