These recordings form the very bedrock of folk, blues, rock 'n' roll & beyond - seminal ain't the word! Comprises THREE DOUBLE CDs, each housed in a jewel case picture sleeve. Includes a copy of the original 28-page 11" x 8½"'Handbook' written by Harry Smith plus a 68-page 12" 'Booklet of Essays, Appreciations & Annotations Pertaining to the Anthology Of American Folk Music' which contains information on the artists, the origins of the songs, their discographies & more.
