BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON Classic Folk Blues By Blind Lemon Jefferson (Very rare 1957 US 1st press 12-track 'deep groove' vinyl LP on the blue 'mic & reels' label, front laminated pasted picture sleeve with '553 West 51st Street' address on the rear slick. Seminal blues recordings originally released on Paramount in the 1920s then remastered in 1957 as part of Riverside's esteemed 'Jazz Archive' series. The sleeve has held up incredibly well and is graded EX-, with just some minor corner scuffs, a little laminate cracking on the spine and the rear panel shows some age related discolouration, all text is clear and front image retains a bright sheen. The vinyl easily achieves an Excellent grade with just some light cosmetic marks if held under a strong light source. This is the first copy we've ever had the pleasure to offer for sale and without doubt a genuine piece of music history - highly recommended RLP12-125)
