THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET Silver's Serenade (1963 US first press 5-track MONO LP on the Blue Note 'New York USA' address label, the final recording to feature the famous Quintet of trumpeter Blue Mitchell, saxophonist Junior Cook, bassist Gene Taylor & drummer Roy Brooks. The run-out grooves have the 'Van Gelder' stamp & 'ear' etching both sides. Comes housed in the original front laminated pasted picture sleeve with catalogue inner. The sleeve is Excellent with a little shelf wear [tiny fracture in laminate] & the heavyweight vinyl is clean & grades VG+/EX- with several spindle marks & cosmetic paper scuffs not affecting the sound on a mono playback setting BLP4131)
