SUNN O))) Black One (2013 US 7-track vinyl double vinyl LP, with textured gatefold picture sleeve, printed inners and opened stickered PVC sleeve, pressed on grey vinyl and limited to 1000 copies. Originally released in 2005, Black One sawSunn O))) expand on the sonic template of previous offerings and bringing in a host of guest musicians such as Malefic from Xasthur and Wrest from Leviathan. The album includes the drone metal masterpiece, It Took The Night To Believe and a cover Immortal's Cursed Realms [Of The Winterdemons]. The is a small, unobtrusive patch of paper loss at the bottom of the rear of the sleeve, but otherwise the sleeve and vinyl remain in spectacular, near 'as new' condition. Essential for fans of drone, doom and black metal SUNN50)
