ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS Free For All (Limited Edition 2012 US 4-track stereo double LP mastered from the original analog tape & pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI in Camarillo, CA as part of Music Matters' 'Blue Note The Definitive 45RPM Reissue' series. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder for Blue Note in 1964, this is a fantastic Blakey-led date performed alongside Wayne Shorter, Curtis Fuller, Freddie Hubbard, Cedar Walton & Reggie Workman. Comes housed in the highest quality gatefold cover which is a heavyweight & deluxe design with a glossy finish & original session photography on the inside. Increasingly hard to find, the sleeve & vinyl discs are Near Mint with few signs of wear & play MMBST-84170)
