KENNY DORHAM Una Mas (Wonderful 1963 US first press 3-track mono vinyl LP on the 'New York' address Blue Note label, with the 'Van Gelder' stamp & original Plastylite 'ear' etching in both run-outs. The legendary trumpeter leads this five starBlue Note date with Joe Henderson on Tenor, Herbie Hancock on Piano, Butch Warren on Bass & Tony Williams on Drums, & comes housed in the original pasted laminate picture sleeve with 'West 61st' date on the back & company catalogue inner. Condition :-

This is a fantastic one previous owner copy bought at the time of release as an exotic import in the UK. The panels remain nice & sharp with clear laminate & the original British tax & '39/6' asking price stickers are intact on the back. As an American grading, the cover is VG+ with the odd chip to the laminate around a few edges [1" split in top right corner], easily forgiveable with age. There is very little sign of discolouring, making for a lovely collector's piece.

The plastylite 'ear' etching is present in both run-outs, which pin-points the era with the rest of the label design confirming a first press.

The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades EX/EX- with a deep sheen both sides & some very light paper scuffs & mild cosmetic wear not affecting play. Recommended.
