HORACE SILVER QUINTET Doin' The Thing (1967 US issue of the 1961 stereo LP, on a 'Division Of Liberty' address Blue Note label with 'RVG' stamper in the run-off. Features four outstanding performances by Silver with Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Gene Taylor & Roy Brooks recorded at the Village Gate in New York, including the ultra snappy, jazz-dance winner, Filthy McNasty. The pasted picture sleeve [VG+] has the odd paper split to a corner but otherwise just light age wear & the vinyl is clean & grades VG+/EX- with some minor spindle marks to show play)
