THE COSMIC JOKERS Cosmic Jokers (Very rare debut 1974 German SQ quadraphonic LP ,fully compatible with conventional stereo systems, laminated picture sleeve. Amazing German space rock featuring two side long outer space excursions from the band that never was! Studio owner Dieter Dierks invited various different musicans linked to the Krautrock scene including Klaus Schulze [Tangerine Dream] and Manuel Gottsching [Ash Ra Temple], the wine flowed, the acid kicked in and long studio jams were recorded and the results were then edited down into what became the three studio albums released by the 'band', legend has it that Gottsching first heard the results when in a record shop the following year! However, all three albums are much revered and include all manner of studio trickery, tape effects, primitive synth action, percussive workouts and more. The sleeve on this copy shows just some light shelfwear, the vinyl is graded as Excellent with just some faint cosmetic hairlines visible - overall, a wonderful copy of a very rare Kosmiche classic KM58.008)
