MICHAEL GIBBS Michael Gibbs (1970 US advance issue of the 8-track stereo LP with stock labels, Gibbs' debut as band leader, with song dedications to John Dankworth, Stan Getz & Gary Burton. The collective personnel includes Kenny Wheeler, Chris Spedding, Jack Bruce, John Surman, Alan Skidmore, Mike Osborne & Tony Oxley - Gibbs' orchestra served an important service as stepping stone for each one of these revered musicians. The picture sleeve has a large 'promotional copy' sticker attached, for review ahead of release & is complete with the catalogue inner. The sleeve [VG+] shows just a little minor scuffing or corner creasing & the vinyl grades VG+/EX- with light cosmetic wear not interfering with play DES18048)
