VARIOUS-PUNK & NEW WAVE Ork Records: The Singles (A quantity of THIRTEEN carefully replicated 7" vinyl singles originally issued between 1975-1979 on the explosive Ork Records, the first punk label and the original 'indie'. Featuring singles that birthed punk, no-wave, power pop, and the next four decades of indie rock, including the debut releases from Richard Lloyd, Cheetah Chrome, Alex Chilton, the dBs, and Chris Stamey, plus future nuggets by the Revelons, Prix, Marbles,Idols, Mick Farren, Link Cromwell and previously unreleased singles from the Feelies and Erasers. All 13 discs are issued in a card picture sleeve replicating their original artwork [excluding Prix which comes in a plain die-cut paper sleeve]!)
