JIM RICHARDSON'S POGO Don't Get Emotional (Scarce British Jazz 1988 UK-only 9-track LP, led by the Prog-Jazz bassist, Jim Richardson [Morrissey Mullen, If] alongside Bob Sydor on tenor sax [Graham Collier], Jeff Green on guitar [Elton Dean's Just Us, Mike Osborne Quintet] & Simon Morton on drums [Paz, The Robin Jones Seven]. Includes great versions of modern jazz favourites from the American songbook including 'Soul Eyes, 'Giant Steps', 'Afro Blue' & 'Monk's Dream' as well as Richardson's own 'Blue Water Beach' & 'Sitting Bull'. The picture sleeve shows minimal wear & the vinyl is Excellent with few signs of play SPJ537)
